Qualifications and Expertise

Bill has provided cable plant design, compliance inspection, commissioning, audit and trouble-shooting services for IP and analogue systems in a variety of applications including data centres, intrusion detection, access control and video surveillance projects. Bill’s design experience includes cabling for voice, video, data, and security systems in both the public and private sectors. System designs range in complexity from simple point to point or multi-point campus environments for both encrypted and non-encrypted networks. Bill’s experience covers several industry verticals including FTTH, education, water/wastewater treatment, distribution centres, food processing and other municipal projects.

As a BICSI certified Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD), Bill has designed flexible and scalable information transport systems that add value to end-users to leverage their infrastructure assets, contributing to a positive return on investment. Bill has designed and man- aged projects across Ontario for the former Ontario Hydro, Ontario Power Generation, Correctional Services Canada, and nationally for security clearance (Level II Secret) project work for the Department of National Defence at 7 different locations across Ontario, BC, Alberta and Nova Scotia.
