Qualifications and Expertise

• In-depth knowledge of virtual and physical security access control systems, video surveillance and video analytics systems, intrusion systems, Intercom and Emergency Communications systems, and state-of-the art perimeter defense mechanisms including: fencing and vehicle access control systems. Comprehensive knowledge of defense-in-depth methodology and best practices as it applies to both virtual and physical security.
• Utilized Videofied (a video varied alarm product), to secure mobile trailer store fronts, which changes physical locations frequently. Videofied has proven useful in combating copper theft from HVAC equipment, remote equipment storage locations and cellular towers.
• Designed an integrated access control, IP video surveillance and intrusion system to protect the perimeter and interior of a warehouse securing high value assets for a logistics firm. As part of the integration, utilized Axis Communications P8221 Network I/O module to tie into the intrusion system. The design called for a variety of Axis camera models to begin a second video stream to capture the pre and post intrusion event(s). The second stream is transmitted via the Internet to an AVHS server host in a secure datacenter for off-site event storage and intrusion video verification. The technique needed to be executed without interrupting the 24/7 recording to an on premise Honeywell Fusion NVR to comply with TAPA (A) requirements.
• Incorporated state-of-the-art laser scan detectors to provide perimeter protection. The ability to shape the detection area, as well as the size of the detection object, reduced the false positives the client had experienced when using conventional motion detection technology.
